Peekaboo is the oldest game in the world, and this is its browser edition: four big colored doors, each hiding somebody new. Tap a door and it swings open — a lion! It roars, the site says "Peekaboo!", there is a giggle, and the door closes again in a new color, ready for the next reveal. Behind the doors live animals, friendly faces, and the occasional teddy bear, chosen fresh each time.
Developmentally, this is the game for the youngest players in the Tiny Paws collection. Around their first birthday, children are consolidating object permanence — the astonishing discovery that hidden things still exist — and peekaboo is that discovery made playable. The doors never do anything scary, wrong taps do not exist, and each key on the keyboard opens its own door for babies who play at the laptop.

Like every Tiny Paws game, Peekaboo runs fullscreen behind a kid-lock: your child can
play and switch games freely but can't accidentally leave. Exiting takes a deliberate grown-up
action: hold both top corners for 2½ seconds on a touch screen, or type
parent on a laptop. There are no ads, no purchases, no accounts, and no
